Hello, I am Armando Tovar, Ph.D., LPC-S. I seek to help people overcome psychological and emotional challenges. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Houston, Texas. My work focuses on healing and empowerment. I help individuals find this through different psychological modalities ranging from the cognitive, emotional, behavioral, social, and spiritual. I promote empowerment through the art of self-management and self-acceptance. I received my Master of Art in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Franciscan University. I also received my Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision. I focus my research on process addictions such as internet gaming and social media addiction. I believe in helping all who are in need. I prefer to use Accelerated Resolution Therapy to help process trauma quickly.
